On January 27, 2022, Illini Hillel, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, the Champaign and Urbana communities joined together in commemorating International Holocaust Remembrance Day. The video is posted below.  

Among the speakers are Mayors Diane Marlin and Deborah Feinen, University President Tim Killeen, Chancellor Robert Jones, representatives from the Champaign Urbana Jewish Federation, Sinai Temple, The Holocaust Education Center and The Initiative in Holocaust, Genocide, and Memory Studies, survivors of the Holocaust
